Vermont Farm and Garden Exchange

http://www.vtfarmandgardenexchange.com/home

The Vermont Farm and Garden Exchange site was created as a resource for people who live in Vermont and want to share, barter, or sell hobby farm and garden goods. There have been quite a number of times that I have had an excess of produce or plants and either pawned them off on family or pickled every single cucumber until my husband was just about begging me to stop.

As a vegetable gardener, surely you’ve been forced to buy a pack of six tomato plants when all you wanted was two. Or watched a bumper crop of beans go to waste because you had run out of steam. As a person raising chickens, surely they’ve gone through times where you’ve had more eggs than you know what to do with and forced them upon friends and family even when they never really needed eggs. And who hasn’t produced something that they’d like to barter, trade or sell but are not sure how to do that, on a casual level, with family, friends, and neighbors.

This is where the Vermont Farm and Garden Exchange comes in – connecting farm and garden enthusiasts across the Green Mountain State.
